Insist on US government developing alternative fuels or better mileage cars.
Consume less petroleum by driving less and biking and walking more.
Encourage the US government to put its full weight and effort behind a national program to find alternative energy, a la Apollo Space Program.
Consume less Gas by driving smaller cars
Invest in wind, solar, and sea generated power.
Improve bus, light rail and other more efficient modes of transportation than the personal automobile.
Hold oil companies accountable. Remove government subsidies and impliment proper taxation to reduce skirting the law.
